PASSION

Lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all
But lend me your heart and I'll just let you fall
Lend me your eyes and I can change what you see
But your soul you must keep, totally free

In the crowded train station

It was morning in the train station.
The platform was crowded.
''Too Too!"
The train was here.
''Time to go, darling." said Mama to Papa.
Yaya hid behind Mama as the train stopped.
'Such a big train. Is it taking Papa away?'
thought little Yaya.
Mama brought Yaya to Papa.
Papa squatted down, and looked into Yaya's
big, brown eyes.
''I'll see you soon, baby.
You be a good girl, okay?''
Yaya nodded and Papa kissed her in her cheek.
Papa kissed Mama, and took his briefcase.
''Darling,'' Mama asked Yaya,
''Don't you have something to give Papa?''
Little Yaya took out a bouquet of flowers.
Papa tried to squat down,
in the noisy crowd.
Doors of train were opened,
and many started going in and out of the train.
Papa quickly stood up, held Yaya in this arms,
and kissed her once again.
''Thanks Yaya''
Papa took the bouquet of flowers from little Yaya's hands.
Then Papa rushed into the train who called for departure.
Little Yaya was short, and in a blink of an eye,
Papa disappeared in the crowds.
Suddenly, she saw a stem of flower,
probably dropped from the bouquet,
that Papa accepted from Yaya.
She took it up, quickly,
and held it in her small palms.
Within minutes, the train was full.
People left the platform.
Crowd dispersing.
Only Mama and Yaya stood still,
looking as the train went away.
Yaya sat down, holding the flower,
and said,
''Papa's clumsy. He dropped flower.
Will he be okay?''
Mama smiled, and said,
''Don't worry. Heavenly Papa will take care of Papa.''
And Yaya smiled, radiantly.
