so, it had been awhile since i posted something on my blog. well, things have gotten kind of busy for me since school started. after having myself graduated from my super boring secondary school life, i am officially now in the pre-u school life. YEA!
i knew that pre-u isn't going to give me a break, but what turned out wasn't as i had expected! it was tough! you might probably heard of A-Levels, AUSMAT, and etc etc, but i bet u have not heard of FORM 6, or a.k.a. in Malaysia, STPM. in case you want know what is STPM, it's called Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia. OK i know you don't get it, cause it's in bahasa Melayu. STPM is just... literally means Certificate High Education Malaysia. Hahaha. Malaysia's A-level. So much for that huh?
FACT #1: form 6 is HARDER than A-level
believe it or not, it's true.
and i' m just in the first term, and it's killing me!!!
there is only 4 subjects, and that's enough. i am taking biology, chemistry, maths and malaysian studies (which is compulsory, if not i would not even want to take it!)
chemistry is fun and thorough in details. and what we learned back then in secondary are, well, kind of useless in form 6.
maths is so troublesome, cause, we have really lousy syllabus.
and of course biology is so easy. just memorising them is the challenging part.
malaysian studies... okay okay lah... (no comment since it's just GENERAL knowledge)
FACT #2: 2012/2013 form 6 syllabus is INSANE
i tell you, the ministry think that we are what, super kids with Einsteins' brain?
we are needed to study 6 chapters of all the 4 subjects in just.... 4 months!!!
crazy? i say it's nuts. and the effect of a super idiotic lousy syllabus, students getting mentally tortured. seriously, something have to be done. it's good they started this new semester thingy in form 6, but c'mon, so many things in one term??? i think they should sit for themselves the currently new syllabus before asking the whole nation to be guinea pigs.
ENOUGH for my hectic life story. (which you most probably feel crap about it.)
